Do plantation shutters add value to a home?

Hardwood vs poly — which is better?
Hardwood is lighter and takes stain beautifully but should be avoided in showers, direct-water, and full west-sun windows. Poly is virtually indestructible in wet or hot exposures. Hybrid splits the difference.

Yes — we build custom eyebrow, half-round, quarter-round, and full-round shutters.
How long is the lead time?
